25m Rapid Fire Pistol
25m Rapid Fire Pistol has been a part of the Olympic program ever since the beginning in 1896. It is shot using a .22 rimfire semi auto pistol only, and must have a barrel no longer than 150mm and a trigger pull no lighter than 1000g.
25m Rapid Fire Pistol is a 60 shot match.
Course of fire:
One shot per target with a total of 5 targets
2 series of 5 shots in 8 seconds
2 series of 5 shots in 6 seconds
2 series of 5 shots in 4 seconds
Repeat once more for a total of 60 shots
The same types of pistols that are used in 25m Pistol and 25m Standard Pistol are also used for 25m Rapid Fire.
